I’m looking for an audiobook that is a better experience than reading for my commute.

Recent book I read: Project Hail Mary 9/10. Loved it! I’m currently reading Farseer Trilogy now.

I like fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, real world, etc. anything with an amazing and engaging story.

I’d prefer if the audiobook really had an amazing experience to it that differs from reading to make it worth my while, cuz then I’d rather just read it.

    Thanks all!

    1. Andy Serkis’ Lord of the Rings is definitely worth the listen- he brings new life to the text, and it feels like a completely different experience

    2. The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie (First Law series) narrated by Steven Pacey who does an incredible job with the audio book

    3. I’m not a fan of audio books, but murderbot is a great book and the ab is free on audible rn.

The Whyborne & Griffin series is my favorite audiobook series. I vastly prefer the audiobook to reading it. And it’s a long series so you have hours and hours to go through if you do enjoy the first book.
