I'd like to find a fictional story that is set in Ancient China (like, Romance of the Three Kingdoms era). Specifically, I'm looking for something that satisfies at least a few of the following criteria:
- Ancient-China-like setting. I'm okay with a fantasy story as long as the setting is reminiscent of Ancient China.
- A more modern writing style (preferably post-2000, but I'm good with something older as long as it's written well).
- A male main character
- A Wuxia/Xianxia feel (It doesn't have to be a story in the Wuxia or Xianxia genre, but it'd be nice if martial arts had some sort of presence in the story)
- A romance side story or focus (I'm a sucker for a good romance, so as long as the main character is male, I'm okay with the focus being more on romance and less on combat, or vice versa. There just needs to be some romance in the story).
