'what you wish for' is a thriller film that was released in 2023 starring Nick Stahl.
I would recommend the film for anyone who likes watching dark thrillers….it's pretty messed up.
I was wondering if anyone who has watched the movie can recommend any fiction books (thriller/horror) that are similar to that film?
For anyone who hasn't watched it:
A little spoiler free summary is that the protagonist assumes a friend's identity and is then stuck in a horrible situation that is hard for him to get out of.
Also, books somewhat realistic, for example a critic of the movie described the premise of the film as "terrifyingly credible" which is what I loved about it.
