Any father-daughter portraying complicated relationship?

So, for the longest time I have become obsessed with Father's and daughter's relationship because the complex relationship (or lack of it) I have with my own father and I'm desperate to learn more, to read more. And I felt like I'm stuck with useless information. 
I need portraits, essays, fiction ~or anything really~ about fathers and daughters. I'm not interested in mean figures who are portrayed as monsters like if they were out of children's book, i look for complex descriptions, realistic ones. I'm interested in SA books, but anything works for me. 
I want to understand why I'm so compelled to them, why they obsess me so much, I need content, I need different views of this topic, different relationships, how a father must act or why we constantly look a father figure in our lives. 
If you have any book related to this topic i would appreciate it a lot.
