I did tests and my reading speed is a bit bellow average (208 words per min.). Despite of that, I still try to stay consistent with my reading. I find it really hard to read more than 10 bigger type pages in a day (takes me around 25 mins.). Usually I start getting tired after reading 5 pages in one sitting. So with that tempo I usually read about 4-5 books in a year, depending on how thick those books are.

Last year I read "IT" by Stephen King, which is 1,138 pages. With around 10 pages a day plus skipping some days of reading because of life, I started it in May 13 and finished on Novemeber 04. It's a good book and I don't regret reading it. I didn't feel like I was "forcing myself to read", but I just find it incredibly hard to read anything for longer periods of time without taking breaks or stopping altogether. I find it really annoying and I wish I would not get tired so fast. I never got "used to reading" , it just is like that to me.

I feel jelaous for people who can spend 1-2 hours or more just reading. But my mind would fry if I tried doing that haha.
