Hello everyone!
I have recently started reading again, but I’m having a hard time finding more books for when this one is finished. I am looking for adult (or young adult) books that have a vibe similar to Spiderwick Chronicles. I am currently reading The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, and am enjoying it so far.
What I’m looking for-
-magic/fae/creatures/etc
-no major politics (real or made up)
-preferably nothing that I have to learn a ton of additional lore to follow (for example, I love Lord of the Rings, but there’s just so much lore to learn and retain)
-fun, cute, campy, etc
Additional special interests-
-Scotland (historic, current, or fiction)
-Witchy vibes, cottagecore vibes, Hobbits
-Historical fiction
