I gotta say I’m not a huge fan of that ending, it seemed a bit forced. But I NEED to know what does that mean. There aren’t a lot of theories online either.
Is Claire alive? If she is, it’s surely because Amber wanted her to be alive. I don’t understand why Amber would kill her husband, steal her twins and burn her house in front of her house when she knows what kind of psychopath Claire is.
The “Taylor(Amber) told me to do it” from Claire’s diary? Makes sense because Amber sometimes lies and we don’t get to see that house burning event from Claire’s POV. But Amber’s OCD about checking the oven is off everyday? It shouldn’t be the case if she is the one that wanted to burn the house right?
Does Paul know? He’s had a lot of time to read the diaries and there’s no way he read ONLY the “two peas in a pod” bit. Just a few more sentences from that same entry and he could’ve figured out Amber/Taylor and Claire aren’t actually sisters, which would’ve intrigued him to read more about it.
