Hey guys, last night i had a dream about finding this cool mystery thriller book and would lile to know if there actually exists a book that has a similar plot to this.
"There was a place that housed kids with special powers, kinda like the Xmen one. One day one of the teens dissapears along with any video record of him and his training. The caretaker who raised him since he was little thought he was kidnaped for his powers (at this point we dont know what his powers are) so he started investigating hoping to find him. From now on the chapters are either the caretaker's journey or what was on the missing video tapes. The video tapes start with the missing teen as a child when he arrived at the house, how he integrated with the other kids, but gets to a point where he starts having fights with his trainers and doesnt want to use his powers anymore (we still dont know what those are). By the end of the book the caretaker reaches him and the moment they meet he (the caretaker) dissapears in thin air and the teens soul shatters. Its the moment we find out that his powers were to erase anything from existance. He ran away because major political figures kept abusing his powers to remove enemies and making it seem like 'training'. He knew what he was doing was wrong but his trainers refused to listen to him. He had to remove his caretaker (who had no ideea about all this stuff ) because otherwise he would be tortured until he would reveal where the teen was hiding. "
