As of now, I've read Moby-Dick, Blood Meridian, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and most of the Odyssey, but I want to read more Epic novels to gain a better understanding of the genre and how stories like that are written. I really enjoy the mythical qualities these stories have — the feeling of people operating and facing tasks/adversaries beyond their (and sometimes the audience's) understanding. I also really enjoy how they can balloon seemingly small matters into something grand.
Thank you in advance!
