Hey fellow Redditors,
I'm looking for a new nonfiction book to obsess over. What's a book that you just couldn't put down? Something that made you forget about sleep, food, and social obligations?
It can be about anything – science, history, memoir, self-improvement, or something else. Just share the title and a brief reason why it was so captivating.
Share your recommendations and help me find my next great read.

Not sure if it qualifies, but I really liked “The Hot Zone” by Richard Preston. The story of the discovery of letal viruses, such as Ebola.
Specially liked the rhythm and the descriptions of the different sites where everything takes place.
