I want to produce a collection of poetry (by different people – I suppose curate a collection of poems) and potentially art/other creative writing pieces, by sexual abuse survivors, to raise money for a charity, and awareness.
How does one go about this?
Do you contact the charity first? If you don't want to self publish, do you contact a publisher, or would you do that after you have created the collection, and submit it like a manuscript? Any advice would be very helpful.
