Hi Everyone!
Long story short- I'm writing a novel set in 1910s London. But I need to research historical facts such as how people in the early 1900s spoke, how they dressed etc and all of those little details that build the world in a novel.
Do you have any suggestions for novels set in and around 1910s London? It must be London and must be early 1900s.
As a bonus point, I'm also looking for novels especially about the diversity in London, i.e. books about multicultural London communities, immigrant POVs, or books with people of mixed races, ages and classes. Think Lonely Londoners but set in 1910 or closer to it.
Also, I don't mind if it's a contemporary novel written about 1910 etc or a novel written in that period about that period!
