I'm in the mood for a book that follows a character who really messes things up, maybe due to their own poor decisions or bad habits. Someone who hits rock bottom or faces some serious life failures but eventually finds a way to turn things around and improve their life.
I’m interested in stories with character development and personal growth—something that feels real and relatable. Any genre is fine, as long as it fits this theme. Fiction or non-fiction, I'm open to both!
Asking for a friend who needs hope😊.

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Rachel’s Holiday by Marian Keyes
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine comes to mind. Excellent character development and a truly misunderstood/lovable character who needs help to find their way.
