As a child I loved the chronicles of Narnia, Wizard of Oz, and then in my teens got into the Dorothy Must Die series—really ate that one up. it sounds morbid, but it really isn’t. just a fun twist on the classic story. Now as an adult I struggle to find fantasy books that don’t have either just a focus on some weird type of romance trope or crazy epic plot carried out in several books. Are there any more cozy-like fantasy books that feel like the ones listed above or even similar to Alice in Wonderland? Not sure if this description is too specific or not, could just be too niche and that’s why I’m struggling lol.
