Hey everyone,
I’m on the lookout for some book recs in a niche topic I’m really into lately: traumatized kids who go on to live interesting lives. As a kid, I was all about Jacqueline Wilson, and more recently, I’ve loved Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman and Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney.
I’m craving something similar, and with a fast pace—something that keeps me turning the pages. I love stories where the characters go through some heavy stuff but come out the other side with a unique story to tell.
Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!
