I started and finished this book today. It was so compelling and aching and compassionate and neutral and I’m trying to compile my thoughts.
I could not have been more in love with our narrator. From the very beginning she had me hooked.
I feel that this book can be interpreted in a million ways and has a million purposes. Harpman’s writing style was so subtle and quiet and lovely. So readable. So smart. She kept hinting at answers that never came and I’m not even mad.
I know this one has developed a cult following as of late, and I wanted to discuss with other fans. ALSO, has anyone read any other of Harpman’s works? I’d love to read more by her.
