The past couple of books I’ve read have been duds, nothing super terrible but all just a ‘meh’ feeling. I am open to all genres as long as it’s something really good.
-I have read Project Hail Mary, everything by SJM, and The House by the Cerulean Sea

*Room* by Emma Donoghue is fantastic and extremely gripping.
I loved PHM and Cerulean sea. Perhaps my favorite book ever (currently) is {{I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman}}.
It’s ambiguous and doesn’t answer most of the questions you’ll have. But that’s not the point, IMO. I’d go in blind other than knowing that tidbit.
