Hey all, I watched a great FD Signifier video about male desirability in today’s age, and while the video talks about how men have been tricked into the manosphere, I would love to learn how men in America have become lonely because of reasons including and not limited to capitalism, patriarchy, lack of community, women’s transition into the workforce, etc. If you have great non-fiction books to learn more about this topic, please send! The Will to Change by bell hooks and For The Love of Men by Liz Plank are both great books.
Both are a few years old now but so far I haven’t come acrose another one like them, where men and the problems we face are discussed with actual empathy and not sarcastic contempt.
