I just finished reading The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (as a recommendation from someone here, actually). I really liked it but found it to be a little bit plotless… are there books out there with the same vibes (found family, etc) but where the plot and the characters actually doing things is more prominent?

Maybe check out Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki. It’s a similar lighthearted vibe but there is a lot happening.
