I'm not much of a reader, but I love watching educational videos a lot. Yet I'm hoping to start reading more, since I can remember something better if I read them. I am interested on a lot of topics. The books I'm currently planning to read are "Critique of Pure Reason", "The Prince (by Niccolo Machiavelli)", "Republic (Platon)", "The Origin of Species", and "Gender Trouble" (but their simplified versions).
Considering I haven't been a reader before, can you consider books with easy-reading that are about science (but not physics), history, psychology, politics, sociology, philisophy, economics etc?
