The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

“Legends & Lattes” by Travis Baldree or “The very secret society of irregular witches” by Sangu Mandanna. Both have wholesome cozy vibes with found family. Mandanna’s book is sightly more on the romance side of things, but it’s not the main focus of the book

I’m not sure if I’d call it adventurous, but I recommend [The Hands of the Emperor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/a792eb4d-b335-4e2f-8ab9-3c9b17e24586) by Victoria Goddard. It’s a (very long) beautifully written slice of life book about the personal secretary to the emperor of the world, with a heavy focus on platonic relationships.
