I've officially ran out of books except for some short ones my gf gave me and I'm going to spend a week basically by the pool or on the beach so need more than that.
I like fantasy books (Robin Hobb, GRRM, Tolkien) but also a bit of Scifi (the Dust, Wool, Shift series, Ender's Game type stuff). The only "classics" I've read and enjoyed are the ones that are a bit dark and gritty: absolutely love Lord of the Flies, 1984, Brave New World, Picture of Dorian Gray, Catcher in the Rye is alright, Catch-22 was hilarious. Wasn't a huge fan of Dune or Fahrenheit 451 (controversial, probably).
I'd like something that's a page-turner with a bit of mystery and intrigue. I LOVE stuff like Dorian Gray where it's something just high concept and weird/creepy. I've never actually read horror novels either but love horror film/TV so could be convinced.
