I’m currently at work bored and I’m craving a good novella. If you have any sci-fi/fantasy recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. For context some of my favorites are the Wayward children series by Seanan McGuire and What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher.

    1. T. Kingfisher has a lot of good stuff out there. If you like humor and warfare, go with The Wizards Guide To Defensive Baking, and if regency/social horror/magic is more your thing, try A Sorceress Comes To Call.

If contemplative sci-fi about the nature of satisfaction and friendship and the sound of crickets is more your speed, try Becky Chambers book A Psalm For The Wild Built.
