What's your recommendation for a small book club(3 members) looking for a graphic novel? I'm not leaning towards anything specific but possibly something with spooky vibes since spooky season is coming up.
Info: have you all read graphic novels before? Or is this your first foray into the category? Also are superhero books off-limits?

I think Watchmen is not only one of the best graphic novels of all time but one of the best books of all time. It’s “superhero” but not really – and while not necessarily spooky it’s pretty dark and macabre so some of those Halloween vibes. Also a great book club because it sparks great discussion. V for Vendetta is also very very good, as is From Hell (about Jack the Ripper so definitely spooky!). You can’t go wrong with Alan Moore.
If you want something REALLY out there (and be warned some of the imagery is pretty disturbing so I’m hesitant to recommend it) Black Hole by Charles Burns is good but again, very dark.
If you want to take it in a different direction and go light, I really loved Seconds by Bryan Lee O’Malley (most known for the Scott Pilgrim books).
