Books for seniors

Hello! I work with seniors and every year we do a “secret Santa” type thing for them.
I have a British woman in her early 90’s that loves to read. She said she likes anything, but she mostly likes westerns and romance.
I had a hard time picking a romance book for her last year but she ended up loving it!
This year I was thinking about getting her The Thursday Murder Club but I wanted to make sure it isn’t too graphic. Or maybe she wouldn’t even like it at all (I have never read it myself)? But this year she mentioned westerns and as I read the complete opposite of what she’s into I need some help!
