I have always loved reading but have had a few years where I’ve let myself become distracted by my phone/tv etc. but I’m wanting to get back into books again!!
I would love some recommendations of books you think I should read based on these things I enjoy…
Books with twists, that can get you thinking, include subjects about mental health, are thought provoking, get you in the feels. I quite like multiple perspectives like when some chapters are written from different people. But don’t mind either way.
I enjoy true stories, and fiction. But not really into sci fi or fantasy (although I haven’t given these much of a chance). Memoirs are interesting. Self help books and books about being self employed (I’m an artist). I like mysteries and psychological thrillers, but nothing too gruesome, and I don’t like anything supernatural or horror.
Nothing with too much spice or too much swearing. (I can cope with a little bit when it’s the whole book I don’t enjoy that)
If you think you know a book I might enjoy based on reading what I like and don’t like I would love to hear it!! Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.
