Ice Station, Area 7, and Scarecrow, (I think there’s a 4th one now but I haven’t read it yet) by Matthew Reilly. Tho Amazon calls them a series, they’re stand-alone novels featuring the same characters (but read in order to avoid spoilers), and are tons of fun. They’re like reading a blockbuster noisy explodey action movie, so read with a bucket of popcorn.
Or anything by Matthew Reilly, though the Scarecrow novels are the best, IMO.

The Scot Harvath books by Brad Thor are pretty action packed as spy novels go.
You could go for military action like Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy, Red Phoenix by Larry Bond or Team Yankee by Harold Coyle.
For action packed Sci-Fi I recommend any of the Four Horsemen Universe books by the various authors, the Ripple Creek books by Micheal Z Williamson or the Posleen War books by John Ringo.
