So I was always busy with my life and other activities so I couldn’t read much novels. My boyfriend on the other hand reads a lot of books but he wont suggest me anything because he thinks I wont be interested in reading the full novel (which is true😭), so this time i want to really get into books.
I would love an addictive page turner and i would also like a multiple story line books. I would appreciate romance, thriller, comedy, true crime, fiction, horror but NOT fantasy. (I have read 3-4 novels for school activities that’s it).

The book I always suggest to people who don’t read often is Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coalho. It’s easy to read, relatively short, and has a simple, clear message. It checks some of your boxes. Sort of a romance, sort of a thriller, with comedy aspects.

1922, it’s a novella by Stephen King. It’s quick and will get you rolling on other, longer novels.
Another good novella is A Good Marriage by Stephen King or Children of the Corn.
