I've started listening to non-fiction audiobooks on my drive to work and I'm enjoying having the time to get through more content and being able to process it while on my commute. So far I've listened to the following:
- The Subtle Art of not giving a F*ck – Mark Manson
- How to win Friends and influence People – Dale Carnegie
- Don't Sweat the Small Stuff – Richard Carlson
- The World is F*cked (a book about hope) – Mark Manson (got about 2 more hours to go on this one)
I'd like to continue with this, but I'm currently not sure what to listen to next. My self-improvement focus has been on…
- Improving my mental state (becoming more positive/less negative)
- Becoming more aware of my own mental state, feeling and emotions
- Letting fewer things bother me
- Being more attentive
- Being more accountable
- Forming new, positive habits
Does anyone have any recommendations for further reading? I'm keen to hear any suggestions, although the book *must* be on Spotify (and included within Spotify Premium). Additionally, I'm looking for books that are actually read by a person, not by AI (even if they're trying to sound like a person, they sound too stilted and ruin my immersion)
