Hello! I am here to ask you people for some book recommendations as I’m very keen on reading about forensic science, investigation processes, case and behavioural analysis by professionals.
It’s growing increasingly difficult to find books that are worth reading, since I’ve practically devoured everything that has come my way, John Douglas, Ann Rule, Michael Bilton, Steve Jackson, Brian Masters, Michelle McNamara, Patricia Cornwell and such are very familiar to me.
Books like Steve Jackson’s ”No stone unturned, Michael Bilton’s ”Wicked Beyond Belief” and Robert House’s ”Jack the Ripper and the Case for Scotland Yard’s Prime Suspect” are some titles that I’ve found very interesting in their content and writing style.
What kind of books would you recommend with similar writing style and content? I’m not interested in essays that focus on the perpetrator’s life in weird, sensational and parasocial ways, rather, I’m interested more in reading about a case and how it’s solved and the cultural and historical impact before and after.
Thank you for your time if you read this far!
