I really did enjoy reading the book but I don't full understand it all.
Basically everything to do with Nakata. I don't get his story. Why did he become dumb? Why can he talk with cats? Why can he make stuff rain from the sky?
Who was Johnny Walker? Was he Kafka's father? Why did he make those cat soul flutes? He showed up again near the end getting attacked by Crow and laughing about it. It's just left at that?
Is it pretty much confirmed that Sakura was Kafka's sister and Saeki his mother?
If so he's fine with getting a handy from his sister and sex with his mom??
What was all that stuff near the beginning? About the war, soldiers, all the kids passing out and not remembering it, the woman beating the kid cause he found the period blood soaked towel?
What was the place that Kafka visited deep within the forest? Why did all that happen? Why before leaving did Miss Saeki show up cut her skin and have Kafka drink it???
Who exactly was Colonel Sanders in the book? Why did Miss Saeki die after Nakata visited? What was that thing that came out of Nakata at the end?
I know thats a ton of questions. 🤓
