I’ve recently gotten back into reading regularly and I’m finding it hard to discover books with clearly LGBT romances. I’ve seen a lot of “Maaaaybe they were closer than friends but we’ll never outwardly say it” type things but I’m getting tired of being queerbated. I’d prefer MM but I’ll take FF too. They also don’t have to have a happy ending. I like tragic romance just as well as healthy and happy ones. Except when the protagonist ends up straight. There’s too many straight romances already.
As far as genres go, I don’t like high fantasy or sci-fi. I prefer realism, supernatural romance, period pieces (Victorian, regency, etc.), and historical fiction. Both more serious and lighter-hearted books are fine. Thank you!!
