Hi all! Just looking for some new recommendations on books to check out, for context my favorite books tend to be Old School Sci-Fi and Fantasy (LotR universe, all Asimov, Herbert, Bradbury, Orwell, Huxtly, Philip K. Dick, Heinlan and the other staples) and I have fallen in love with more modern Sci-Fi & Fantasy (Roadside Picnic, Metro novels, Gibson, Three Body problem, Dark Tower series and more King, The Expanse) but I am struggling to break out of that mold, if anyone here has similar tastes and has found something outside of that list they have enjoyed? Just struggling to find new horizons with my reading list

Big scifi fan and I’ve been finding magical realism to be fun. Recently read The 1000 Crimes of Ming Tsu which is a western with magical elements and that was a fun read
