I love reading a series in the fall/winter after the stand alones I read all summer, and Harry Potter is the vibe I like for the upcoming season. I've yet to read Lord of the Rings and am wondering if it could replace HP for me this fall? Trying to prepare my Libby app. 😅

Yes. Prepare your soul.
Well, I have the perfect/worst suggestion.
*The Name of the Wind* and *The Wise Man’s Fear* by Patrick Rothfuss.
You will love these books but hate Rothfuss for not being able to put out the third book.
EDIT: Damn, I misread the title. You weren’t looking for suggestions. Sorry! I’ll leave this here, anyway.
Depends. I read HP multiple times and I love the books. I couldn’t even finish LOTR book at all.
Harry Potter is very light reading. LOTR is nothing like that. It’s long and very descriptive. I re-read it a couple of years ago. It’s something of a slog.
Lotr is a lot more “ challenging “ of a read than harry potter. But yes its an amazing journey, which will be really well suited for fall/winter IMO. If you can, try getting the audiobooks for them on libby too!
