I was not expecting so much emotional depth, but sure enough… I cried multiple times from beginning to end. As well as being absolutely terrified at what was coming next. The author completely immerses you into one of the most terrifying situations plausible – truthfully it felt like watching a movie it was so thrilling. Beyond the action, this was such a beautiful tribute to our first responders that were, are, and will be. Those who put their lives on the lines for others, no matter what the cost. Ok, I’ll say it – this is my favorite novel I’ve read all year.
This book was released August 13th. Ordered it and read it less than 24 hours, I couldn’t put it down.
