Hey! Little bit about me; I'm M32, was an alcoholic throughout my 20s but I've managed to knock that on the head, been sober a few months now and had a few stretches of sobriety before reaching this stage. I also quit smoking a couple of months ago, after smoking 40 a day for about 15 years. I've had some profound experiences using psychedelics, particularly this year, which also helped me quitting the smoking and boozing. I say all this to indicate that I'm in a sort of transitional period of my life right now; it's exciting, scary but feels great. I've been getting into wildcamping lately and it puts me in a good headspace for reflection.
Recent books I've read that I really liked include:
Stephen King – 11.22.63
A few Matt Haig books
Blake Crouch – Dark Matter
Ken Grimwood – Replay
Philip K Dick – Time Out Of Joint (maybe favourite)
Man's Search For Meaning
DMT: The Spirit Molecule
Annie Grace – Naked Mind
Catherine Gray – Unexpected Joy Of Bring Sober
Catherine Gray – Unexpected Joy Of Being Single
Bronnie Ware – Top Five Regrets Of The Dying
So, yeah, I hope that gives a little idea of what I like, I guess they all fall under the existentialism umbrella.
Thanks! 🙂

I’m not sure if Mary Oliver is an existentialist but I think Upstream would be a good hiking/camping read
