Hello! I(20f) want to start getting into reading but have no idea where to start. The last time I remember actually *reading* a book was when I was in high school English class and we had to read.
English is not my first language and I was never really thrilled about anything in language arts until now, which is just so out of nowhere because I have always been a math person. I don't know if this gives any ideas of what kind of vibe I like but here are some things I enjoyed watching/reading: Midsommar, Moomin, Oyasumi Punpun, Death Note, Anne of Green Gables, Heidi, and most works of Miyazaki Hayao (can you tell I'm Japanese).
I would appreciate any suggestions! Really excited to start this new interest of mine.
