Are there any FICTIONAL books (any genre or age category) out there where the main character or any character specifically has lupus?
I read Moth Girl by Heather Kamis where the author has lupus and did a fantastic job writing about a made up chronic illness, but it wasn't actually lupus.

The Girl Who Wanted to Run the Boston Marathon by Robert McKay.
I read it as a teenager. Made a huge impact on me (I also loved running). Was diagnosed with lupus 20 years later.
James Lee Burke detective series . The wife has Lupus. That’s all I can think of. Stephen R Donaldson has a series where the main character is a leper.
