Is it satire?(I hope it is) Someone please tell me what approach to take with this book. I have read it once, but I can't seem to excuse all that is happening in the name of 'love.' What is the point of this story? Am I missing something? Also, why do underage girls keep appearing in G.G. Marquez's book? Why are they romanticized? I would appreciate some guidance.
