I’ve been digging around about “No Longer Human” and Osamu Dazai in general. Some people perceive his case to be that of someone who was very troubled, trouble which he wrongly responded to be doing terrible things (perhaps some the killing of an innocent child?), and as someone who is curious about restorative and transformative justice, I’d like to find some stories or memoirs about people who did such terrible things and were not dragged to the depths of hell by it, unlike Dazai and Yozo. I’ve read Just Mercy and appreciated it a lot.
