I know I know, I've grown up and should read books for my age.. but ive loved Roald Dahl ive read ALL the books

(( here is my private ranking btw top 3 hehe

    1. fantastic Mr fox
    2. Charlie and the chocolate factory
    3. the twits (Shutup i love the book) ))

anyways suggest me a book please, Ive read the entirety of "The hunger games" but they didnt give me the warm fuzzy feeling like matilda or the esio trot. Hunger games got so dense and boring but i completed it.

Ive read the complete "Diary of wimpy kid" But i dont really like books that dont have a specific story, I like to get lost in a world of imaginary things like the ones of Road dahl.

i tried reading "Da vinci code" Absolutely got bored could'nt finish

I am sorry but i love the cartoony pictures..

    pls help a man child
also i should mention I hate romance from the pov of girls.

I’m 42 and still read The Hall Family Chronicles series by Jane Langton every year. They’re aimed at kids, but there’s a lot about them that I love, and they’re really funny at times.

I still read the His Dark Materials series, The Secret Garden, everything by L.M. Montgomery. A good book is a good book, no matter the age of the intended audience.

The Redwall books are great for all ages too, although I admit that I kind of checked out after book 8 or 9.

Never let anyone tell you you are too old for these books! Some of the best books are classic children’s books!

My recommendation for you is the Chrestomanci series by Diana Wynne Jones!

    4. I’m all for reading what you enjoy. (I have My Side of the Mountain as an Audiobook on hold because nostalgia.)

Did you read/enjoy Hatchet by Gary Paulsen (and sequels)? Big Time Book Guy has 2 tiktoks with a list of suggestions that have been added to my TBR.

Sci-fi? The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams is a fun, sometimes silly, read.

A collection of short stories might also be up your alley. Quicker resolutions may help help you narrow down your “grown up” tastes.
