For context this friend just doesnt like reading books but apparently wants to and I want to help pick the right one to get hooked onto. All my suggestions have failed so far so most likelt our tastes are very different. Looking for books:
    1. That dont make anyone cry
    2. No smut, no steam
    3. Thought provoking (i think that will make someone not leave reading once they start?)
    4. She might like themes that cover biases, LGBTQ+ topics
    5.Non-fiction

She likes shows like Dynasty, Tales of hand maid, The bold type etc.

These are just my thoughts on what my friend might like but any suggestions are welcome, really! I am just tired of suggesting books (Psychology of money, Sapiens, Subtle art of not giving a F, Freakonomics, a lot of fiction suggestions like Julie James, Ali Hazelwood, Beth o leary – just nothing has worked!) and her not liking any of the blurb, so looking for help!
