Sometimes I wish Visual Novels would count

I love playing visual novels (I Was A Teenage Exocolonist, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, etc.). And even a lot of the time they don’t have voice acting so you really are reading. I know that they are consequence driven based on your decisions, which is different to most books. But when you put 12 to 20 hours into a story, it would be nice to be able to count it! I know it isn’t quite the same as normal books, but I wish Goodreads or Storygraph had an option for them.
