I’ve started a Read Around the World challenge, and I’m looking for suggestions!! I’ve been able to find some already, but there are some countries I’m struggling to find books I can access translations of. I usually read horror or spec fic/literary fiction, but any recommendations are welcome!
For what it’s worth, here are the countries I’ve already finished or I already have books for:

Finland: The Year of the Hare by Arto Paasilinna. Or lesser known but a personal favourite: Fishing for the Little Pike by Juhani Karila
Edit: Just wanted to add that both of these are a blast, they are entertaining, easy to read, and very Finnish. With Paasilinna you will get a roadtrip through Finland and with Karila there is also some folklore.
And I applaud your Estonian pick: I absolutely love Kivirähk, such a joy to read!
