Hey hey, I’ll set my scene a bit for you. I’ve been in a reading slump for a few months, which started when my dad passed in June so I’m managing a lot of grief. I also have chronic pain from spinal surgery and currently in a pretty bad flare up. So, I’m looking for a book that will get me out of my slump and transport me into a completely different world. I love beautiful prose that makes me think deeply about things with descriptive setting. I’m honestly open to pretty much anything, maybe except for gory horror. Down for a coming of age, historical fiction, sisterhood/friendship, even romance or fantasy (just not YA type of romance that’s fluffy). Thank you in advance ❤️
