Have you ever read a book that changed how you viewed the world, yourself, people around you etc?

I have read 2 very different books that have changed my perspective.

First book is Underground by Andrew McGahan is based in Australia and set in an alternate timeline from what we have experienced since the terror attacks on the twin towers. It changed how I see politics in Australia, but also politics on a more global scale. I've only read it once, but it kinda lives rent free in my mind.

Second book is The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. I don't fear death or dying, but it gave me a different perspective on what might happen after I die instead of thinking that we go to heaven or hell based on Christian beliefs. And even though I don't actively think of death, dying and the great beyond, it's a kinda comforting thought.
