Loved this book, just finished, and here to express my enthusiasm.
I'm a fan of China, but a (very minor) critique would be that sometimes his ideas are better as ideas than as books. But maybe the nature of the Berserk universe grounded him a little bit, letting him just get perfectly weird. I'd call this a little faster paced and less…baroque than some of China's regular storylines and prose.
I don't know much about BRSRK before going in, but from what I understand, China introduced some new elements to the lore here, and credit to Keanu to letting other creatives make tweaks to his universe. China is so creative I loved the world that is set up, and was curious what was going on, so read it in two sittings.
Curious what others think, and hope you enjoy if you check it out!
