The most recent fiction I’ve read was dune to children of dune. This was about 3 years ago. At the end of children of dune I found it got too weird for me. I loved it, just couldn’t keep going
Other than that I’ve read a lot history and self help. I found that I loved “guns, germs, and steel” as well as “sapiens”, “homo deus”, a little of “the rise and fall of the third Reich”, some david grann books “the wager” and “killers of the flower moon”. The self help books I’ve read have been the classic personal finance books.
Of all fiction genres I’ve gravitated towards sci fi recently. So I have a preference there, but I’m open to anything. I’m not sure what it is, but I haven’t been able to pick up anything else and stay interested.
