Drug, human trafficking in Latin America, a survival experience sort of thing. Suggestions?

Not for everyone. I like reading disturbing things; a story doesn't have to be a nonfiction

There are some cheap writings of real stories, but I am after a great read, not a 100% story.

Not related to the topic but I like "The Ritual" with all its brutality.

Is there anything worth reading?
