First-person seems to give more character depth, while third-person may provide more world-building opportunities. Books I enjoyed with a first-person narrative include The False Prince by Jennifer Nielson, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Barnes, etc. On the other hand, I enjoyed a third-person narrative in books such as Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, and The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. So, in your opinion, what type of narrative is more appealing?
